Anyway, I looked at the sad state and decided to do some fake nails to keep me on the right track. I feverishly buffed, snipped, glued, pressed, filed, etc.... and then I was ready for polish and art!
Now, I have recently received a bottle of one of my all time favorite colors, royal blue. OH, how lovely it is!!!!! What was this perfect, awesome, regal color polish, you ask?
NAILNATION3000 - "Take the Crown"
Now THIS is a color to drool for! It's somewhat sheer on it's first coat, but after 2, it's nice. I put on a third coat for good measure, just because a regal color deserves lots! :) This polish finishes an almost-matte finish, more like satin...but with Seche Vite over the top, it's dripping in royal blue shiny goodness. <3
NEXT, take NN3000 - "Molten" (A silver that stamps SOOOO well) and Winstonia's squarish plate W04, and I did this mani:
I am seriously in love with this. It's simple, stamping-wise, I just took the image and rotated it to stamp in various corners for a less uniform look. Here's a pic of the plate:
The big flower on the middle left is on my thumbs. Winstonia quality is awesome!!
Well, I'm off to stare at my fingers....
It's a gorgeous blue shade and the silver stamping on it is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue!
ReplyDeleteI feel for you, I have similar size nails to you and all mine have thinned and am now left with even shorter Stubbs. Giving the polish a break (normally do mine every day as they chip so easily) and haven't worn anything but nail envy all week. This looks gorgeous, that silver stamps awesome.
ReplyDeleteI have the same plate and love it!! Nail Nation 3000 polishes are fantastic I have a lot, but I don't have Take the Crown or Molten so thanks for swatching! :)
